Bulk deals: BNP Paribas Arbitrage Fund laps up RBL Bank shares

Mumbai: RBL Bank and Reliance Naval witnessed bulk deals in Monday’s trade.

For the day, the 30-share Sensex rose 1.33 per cent or 415.86 points to close at 31,743.08, while the 50-share Nifty climbed 1.40 per cent or 127.90 points to close at 9,282.30.

Around Rs 1.75 lakh crore was added to the market capitalization of the listed stocks on the BSE.


Here’s who bought what in bulk deals in Monday’s trade:

>> BNP Paribas Arbitrage Fund bought 60,00,000 shares of RBL Bank at Rs 112.75 each. The shares rose 10 per cent to close at Rs 117.85 on the NSE

>> In the fifth such sale this month, YES Bank sold another 128,00,000 shares in Reliance Naval at Rs 1.35 a share. The shares closed 3.85 per cent higher at Rs 1.35 on the NSE.

>> Heshika Growth Fund bought 5,70,000 shares of Paisalo Digital at Rs 161.75 each from Plutus Terra India Fund. The company’s shares closed 1.30 per cent higher at Rs 164 each.
