Bulk and Block Deals: Axis Trustee sells Reliance Capital shares

MUMBAI: Anil Ambani-led companies Reliance Capital and Reliance Home Finance witnessed bulk deals in Monday’s trade.

For the day, Sensex closed 1.51 per cent or 469.60 points lower at 30,690.02, while Nifty shed 1.30 per cent or 118.05 points at 8,993.85.

The selloff eroded Rs 1.02 lakh crore from the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies.


Here’s who bought what in some of the key bulk deals of the day:

>> Axis Trustee Services further sold 88,27,483 shares of Reliance Capital at Rs 4.50 each. On April 7, Axis Trustee Services had sold 15,98,321 shares in Reliance Capital at Rs 4.50 each, and on April 9, sold 43,64,500 shares in the company at the same price.

Tanish Trade Fin bought 14,50,010 shares of the company at Rs 4.52 each, and sold 2,00,010 shares of the company at Rs 4.85 each.

Alpha Leon Enterprises bought 27,82,269 shares of the company at Rs 4.50 each, and sold 17,79,307 shares of the company at Rs 4.82 each.

Reliance Capital shares closed 9 per cent higher at Rs 4.85 on BSE.

>> Axis Trustee Services sold 48,18,474 shares in Reliance Home Finance at Rs 0.75 per share. On April 9, it had sold 37,89,286 shares of the company at the same price.

>> Gayi Adi Management and Trends sold 1,10,000 shares of Prakash Pipes at Rs 29.25 a share. The shares closed 5 per cent higher at Rs 29.40.
