BSE to sell 4% stake in CDSL via OFS
NEW DELHI: Leading stock exchange BSE, promoter of Central Depository Services Limited (CDSL), on Wednesday said it will offload 4 per cent in the company.

The bourse said it will sell 41,80,000 equity shares, constituting 4 per cent of its stake in CDSL through offer for sale.

Shares of CDSL fell 0.36 per cent to Rs 223.40 on NSE.


As of Wednesday’s close, 41,80,000 shares is worth Rs 93.38 crore.

As of September 30, BSE holds 24 per cent in the company. Rest of the shares are held by public shareholders. Mutual funds hold 9.54 per cent in the company while FPIs hold 1.78 per cent.

Banks and financial institutions own 22.42 per cent and Alternate Investment Funds (AIF) hold 0.67 per cent.

Standard Chartered Bank - Corporate Banking holds 7.18 per cent and insurance companies own 2.34 per cent.
