BSE StAR MF processes over 63,000 orders in single day

MUMBAI: BSE StAR MF, a leading platform for mutual funds, today made a record 63,000 orders in a single day.

Previously, the exchange's mutual fund platform had hit 50,000 orders each on August 10 and September 10, this year.

"BSE StAR MF has processed over 63,000 orders on a single day on September 28, 2015," BSE said in a statement.

The volume of mutual fund transactions routed through this platform has been consistently increasing since 2009-10, it added.

BSE had recently introduced X-SIP facility with first order today flexibility, enabling BSE StAR MF members to start systematic investment plans ( SIP) within couple of minutes instead of waiting for a month.
