BSE revises circuit limit for these 6 stocks effective today
The BSE revised circuit filter for six firms with effect from Tuesday. The list includes Assam Company India, Kothari Fermentation & Biochem, Banaras Beads, Aanchal Ispat, Adhunik Metals and Dolphin Medical Services.

Shares of Assam Company (India) were trading 6.25 per cent up at Rs 4.25 in morning trade at around 9.50 am (IST), while the BSE Sensex was up 0.58 per cent at 36143.87 at around the same time.

Dolphin Medical Services, Aanchal Ispat and Kothari Fermentation slipped up to 4 per cent. On the other hand, Banaras Beads and Adhunik Metaliks rallied more than 6 per cent.


Domestic equity markets ended at a five-month closing high on Monday, as investors put trade worries on the back burner and shifted focus to the upcoming earnings season.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty kicked off the Tuesday’s trading session on optimistic note following firm global cues. The 30-share Sensex and 50-share Nifty pack reclaimed 36,000-mark and 10,900-mark.

Market participants will be looking for first-quarter corporate earnings for the financial year 2018-2019, with India’s biggest software services exporter Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) reporting quarterly results today.

The US markets ended higher on Monday, as investors set aside concern about escalating trade tensions and rising political tension abroad to focus on the coming earnings season. Asian markets were trading in green in early trade as recent trade-related concerns seemed to have faded for now.
