HSIL Limited bought 4.25 lakh shares of its own company at a price of Rs 89.38 per share.
Among the key bulk deals on Friday, Barclays Securities India bought more than 1.50 lakh shares of Asian Granito from the open market on Friday. HSIL, Siti Networks, Vertoz Advertising, Jump Networks and Vikas EcoTech also witnessed bulk deals during the day.
Overall, the domestic equity markets closed in the green after a day's pause as banking and finance stocks found firmer ground amid mixed global cues.
The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 85.81 points, or 0.20 per cent, up at 43,443. Likewise, the broader NSE Nifty gained 29.15 points, or 0.23 per cent, to 12,719.95.
