BSE extends DMA facility to corporates, primary dealers
MUMBAI: Leading stock exchange BSE today allowed body corporates and primary dealers to have direct access to its trading system without any manual intervention by the brokers.

In a circular, BSE said it is extending the facility to body corporates and primary dealers.

Direct Market Access (DMA) facility through various connectivity modes permits the trading members of BSE to provide direct trading terminals to their DMA clients.

Some of the benefits of DMA facility include direct control of clients over orders, faster execution of their orders, reduced risk of errors associated with manual order entry and lower transaction costs.

As per norms, DMA facility were restricted to institutional clients only.
