Share market update: Realty shares fall; Godrej Properties slips 4%

NEW DELHI: Realty shares were trading with losses in Thursday's session.

Shares of Godrej Properties (down 4.13 per cent) , Prestige Estates Projects (down 3.22 per cent) , Sunteck Realty (down 2.4 per cent) , Brigade Enterprises (down 2.35 per cent) , Phoenix Mills (down 2.12 per cent) , Indiabulls Real Estate (down 1.51 per cent) , SOBHA (down 0.93 per cent) and DLF (down 0.87 per cent) were the top losers in the index.

The Nifty Realty index was trading 1.94 per cent down at 196.95 around 12:23PM.


Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 101.45 points at 9960.1, while the BSE Sensex was down 343.81 points at 33765.73.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 15 were trading in the green, while 35 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, Trident Ltd, PNB, SBI, Bank of Baroda, Tata Motors, Tata Power, Vedanta , Ashok Leyland and ICICI Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
