Share market update: OMCs trade in the red; IOC, BPCL among top losers
The S&P BSE Oil & Gas index was trading 1.46 per cent down at 12,971.52 around 11:08 am.

Shares of Indian Oil Corporation (down 3.23 per cent) , Bharat Petroleum Corporation (down 2.53 per cent) , Oil And Natural Gas Corporation (down 2.35 per cent) and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (down 1.79 per cent) were trading with losses.
Castrol India (down 1.67 per cent) , Reliance Industries (down 0.97 per cent) , Indraprastha Gas (down 0.67 per cent) and GAIL (India) (down 0.42 per cent) too were trading in the red.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 115.40 points at 10,907.85 while the BSE Sensex was down 389.28 points at 36,943.51.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 11 were trading in the green, while 39 were in the red.
Shares of YES Bank, Vodafone Idea, PNB, Bombay Burmah, NCC, Dish TV India, Biocon, Tata Motors, Natco Pharma and Bank of Baroda were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
