Share market update: Infra stocks slump; Sadbhav Infrastructure slips 5%
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 142.55 points down at 10,880.70.

NEW DELHI: Shares of infrastructure companies were trading in the red in Tuesday's afternoon session.
Shares of Sadbhav Infrastructure (down 5.33 per cent), Artefact Projects (down 4.98 per cent), IL&FS Transportation Networks (down 4.85 per cent), Punj Lloyd (down 4.72 per cent), IRB Infrastructure Developers (down 4.39 per cent), HG Infra (down 4.30 per cent), Reliance Infrastructure (down 3.73 per cent) and Gammon Infrastructure Projects (down 3.23 per cent) were trading with losses.
MEP (down 2.95 per cent), Jaypee Infratech (down 2.80 per cent), GVK Power & Infrastructure (down 2.49 per cent), Ashoka Buildcon (down 2.17 per cent), GBL Inds (down 1.99 per cent), PNC Infratech (down 1.82 per cent), BF Utilities (down 1.40 per cent), GMR Infrastructure (down 1.39 per cent), SKIL Infrastructure (down 1.32 per cent), Gayatri Projects (down 0.71 per cent) and J Kumar Infraprojects (down 0.55 per cent) too were trading lower.
Meanwhile, Gayatri Highways (up 9.76 per cent), Noida Tollbridge (up 5.69 per cent), JITF Infra (up 4.99 per cent), Brahmaputra Infrastructure (up 4.97 per cent), Madhucon Projects (up 4.26 per cent), KNR Constructions (up 2.38 per cent) and Bharat Road (up 1.03 per cent) were trading higher.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 142.55 points down at 10,880.70 while the 30share BSE Sensex was down 492.43 points at 36,840.36 at around 02:34 pm.
Tech Mahindra (up 2.10 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation (up 1.83 per cent), Indiabulls Housing Finance (up 1.79 per cent) and HCL Technologies (up 1.31 per cent) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, UltraTech Cement (down 3.78 per cent), ICICI Bank (down 3.42 per cent), Housing Development Finance Corporation (down 3.34 per cent) and Vedanta (down 3.20 per cent) were trading lower.
