BPCL's subsidiary strikes gas in Mozambique, stock up

Bharat PetroResources has informed that the Tubarao exploration well drilled in the Rovuma Basin offshore Mozambique, has encountered more than 34 net metres of natural gas pay and no water in a high quality Eocene-age reservoir.

MUMBAI: Bharat Petroleum Corporation’s wholly owned subsidiary Bharat PetroResources has informed that the Tubarao exploration well drilled in the Rovuma Basin offshore Mozambique, has encountered more than 34 net metres of natural gas pay and no water in a high quality Eocene-age reservoir.

Shares of BPCL were at Rs 600.40, up 2.03 per cent on the NSE. It touched a high of Rs 603 and low of Rs 585.10 in trade so far.
