Bonus issues: These 5 stocks will see corporate action this week

A handful of listed companies have record dates for bonus issues this week. A record date is the date on which the company checks its records to identify the shareholders.

Shares of Baid Leasing will turn ex-bonus on Monday, and the record date for the same is Tuesday. The company had announced a bonus issue of 1:1 on May 4. The same company had announced a stock split from face value of Rs 10 to Rs 2 in April.

An NSE-listed company Osia Hyper Retail will go ex-bonus on Monday, and the record date for the bonus issue is Tuesday. This company had announced a bonus issue of 3:5.


Ajanta Pharma will go ex-bonus on Wednesday. The record date for the issue is set for Thursday. The drugmaker had announced a dividend in a 1:2 ratio on May 10.

Nazara Technologies will turn ex-bonus on Friday. It has a record date on the next working day, which falls on Monday, June 27. The company had announced a bonus issue in a 1:1 ratio on May 13.

Meanwhile, shares of Avantel, which went ex-bonus this past Friday, have a record date on Monday. The company had, on May 6, announced a bonus issue in the ratio of 3:1.
