Oneclick Logistics India | Bonus issue
Oneclick Logistics India has fixed Thursday as the record date for its 1:2 bonus issue. This means that the company will issue one new equity share for every two shares held in the company as on the record date. A bonus issue comprises free shares distributed by a company from its reserves and is often seen as a sign of strong financial health and growth prospects. While the issue of bonus shares increases the total number of outstanding shares, it does not change the company’s market capitalisation. However, it can improve liquidity and affordability, allowing more investors to add shares of the company to their portfolio.

Samor Reality | Stock split
Samor Reality has fixed Thursday as the record date for its 1:5 bonus issue. While the number of outstanding shares increases during a stock split, the company’s overall market capitalisation remains unchanged. A lower share price can make the stock more accessible to retail investors, potentially improving participation and trading volumes. A 1:5 stock split means that every share held on the record date would be split into five shares, while the total value remains the same. This means that every share held in the company as on the record date will be split into five equity shares after the corporate action.
