Bombay Rayon likely to be the single largest textile company in India: Dilip Bhat, Prabhudas Lilladher
Dilip Bhat, Joint Managing Director, Prabhudas Lilladher, in a chat with ET Now talks about Bombay Rayon.
With respect to the capacity expansions now and over the next three years, how do you think Bombay Rayon sales will be growing?
I think they have really commissioned all their capacities. Now they are the lowest cost manufacturer of fabric in the world. They have the largest fabric capacity at a single location and I think from here on what you are going to see is a quarter on quarter profit growth for next 5 to 6 quarters.
So I think the last quarter in December they reported something like 45-46 crores probably, for the march quarter almost about 55 crores. But hereon - as what I said - one has to closely watch this stock for the quarter on quarter growth. So for 2010-2011 they can report almost 350 crores which will go right to 500 crores a year after. I think this is going to be the single largest textile company in India and holds a lot of promise.
