Mankind Pharma is likely to see a block deal worth Rs 763 crore on Thursday, where Hema CIPEF, an affiliate of the US-based Capital Group, will offload its stake, according to reports.

About 37 lakh shares or 0.9% of Hema's equity will go under the block at a price of Rs 2,061 apiece, which is at 2% discount to the current market price.

At the end of March quarter, Hema CIPEF held about 2.22% in the company, which is majority owned by promoters.


Mankind is a leading player in the domestic pharmaceuticals business present across acute and chronic therapeutic areas including anti-infectives, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, antidiabetic, neuro/CNS, VMN and respiratory, among others with a strategy to increase chronic presence going ahead.

Meanwhile, in separate deals, Canada Pension Plan Investment is also likely to offload 3.17% stake in Delhivery on Thursday. The issue size is close to Rs 886 crore in the block, according to reports.

The shares are being offered at Rs 378-389 apiece.

At the end of March 2024 quarter, Canada Pension held about 5.96% stake in the company.
