Gland Pharma in focus as promoter puts 5% stake on the block.
The block deal has been launched with a floor price of Rs 2,763 per share, representing a discount of up to 5% to Gland Pharma’s current market price. The offer size is pegged at Rs 2,279.5 crore. A lock-up will apply to any further sale of shares for up to 12 months, per multiple media reports.
Separately, Gland Pharma had informed the exchanges on September 1 that the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) had conducted a routine Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) inspection at its VSEZ Sterile Oncology Formulations Facility and API Facility in Visakhapatnam between August 24, 2026 and September 1, 2026. The inspection concluded with ZERO (0) Form 483 Observations.
Gland Pharma Q1 results
The company reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 317 crore for Q1FY27 on August 10, marking a 47% year-on-year increase from Rs 216 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations rose 20% year-on-year to Rs 1,800 crore from Rs 1,506 crore in Q1FY26.Gland Pharma’s quarterly R&D investment stood at Rs 77.2 crore in Q1FY27, while adjusted EBITDA increased 37% year-on-year. The adjusted EBITDA margin was 28%. Its CDMO business contributed 50% of total revenue and grew 20% year-on-year during the quarter, while the B2B business accounted for the remaining 50% and recorded 19% year-on-year growth.
