BHEL pays 136% interim dividend for fiscal 2011-12

At Rs 665.75 crore, this is the highest-ever interim dividend in percentage as well as value terms declared by the company so far, BHEL said in a statement.

NEW DELHI: Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) has declared an interim dividend of 136% for fiscal 2011-12 as against 132.5% paid a year ago.

At Rs 665.75 crore, this is the highest-ever interim dividend in percentage as well as value terms declared by the company so far, BHEL said in a statement.

A cheque of Rs 450.85 crore toward interim dividend for the year 2011-12 on 67.72% equity held by the government was presented on Friday to minister for heavy industries and public enterprises Praful Patel by BHEL chairman and managing director B P Rao.
