NEW DELHI: The domestic equity market slipped over 100 points on Wednesday as fresh uncertainties over the passage of the GST Bill in the ongoing winter session of Parliament sent a proved to be a blow to investors' sentiment.

In the weakening market, 41 companies hit new 52-week lows. Prominent among them were IDFC Bank (down 3 per cent), Bharti Airtel (2.3 per cent), Dr Reddys Labs (2 per cent), Larsen & Toubro (0.68 per cent) and Adani Ports SEZ (1.45 per cent).

Other companies that hit their 52-week lows were Ruchi Soya Inds, Kolte-Patil Developers, Orissa Minerals, ABG Shipyard, Ashapura Intimat, Usha Martin, J&K Bank, Rallis India, Gujarat NRE Coke, Bharat Forge, IDFC, Lux Industries, Himadri Chemicals, Visesh Infotec, Exide Industries, NMDC, SAIL, IL&FS Transport, Canara Bank, Allahabad Bank, ONGC, and Bank of India.
