Bharat Wire Ropes, Lancor Holdings among top losers on BSE

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 235.96 points up at 37,990.85 on Friday on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Shares of Bharat Wire Ropes (down 10.73 per cent), Lancor Holdings (down 7.92 per cent), Artson Engineering (down 7.10 per cent), HB Portfolio (down 6.30 per cent), Womens Next Lounge (down 6.25 per cent), Manaksia Coated (down 5.51 per cent), Angel Fibers (down 5.24 per cent), Gujarat HySpin (down 5.19 per cent), Chowgule Steam (down 5.00 per cent) and Kuwer Industries (down 5 per cent) were among the worst performers.

In the Nifty pack, 43 stocks were trading in the green, while 7 stocks were in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 74.20 points up at 11,417.45.
