Berger Paints stock hits 52-week high on acqusition of architectural ops of Sherwin Williams

Shares of Berger Paints hit 52-week high after its subsidiary acquired architectural operations of Sherwin William Paints for an undisclosed amount.

MUMBAI: Shares of Berger Paints hit 52-week high after its subsidiary Brushworks Paints acquired the architectural operations of Sherwin William Paints for an undisclosed amount.

At 09:35 a..m; the stock was at Rs 210.75, up 1.89 per cent, on the BSE. It touched a high of Rs 212.75 and a low of Rs 207 in trade today.

“This transaction will significantly increase our presence in key markets, it builds on our strategy to grow our architectural paints business throughout India,” said K S Dhingra, Chairman, Berger Paints.

Berger Paints operates in India with seven manufacturing facilities, over 135 depots and more than 1500 dealers.
