BEML slips on disappointing Q4 results
BEML Ltd slipped over 3 percent in early trade on Friday after the company reported a loss of Rs 13.99 crore for the fourth quarter of the 2011-12.
At 10:00 a.m., the company’s shares were trading 3.5 percent lower at Rs 414.20. The stock has hit a high of Rs 421 and a low of Rs 405 in trade so far.
The Bangalore-based company posted a net profit of Rs 70.25 crore in the year-ago period, the company said in a filing with the BSE. Income from operations during the quarter also fell to Rs 793.35 crore against Rs 941.60 crore in the January-March period of 2010-11, it added.
