Behari Lal Engineering opens its IPO on August 12, targeting capacity expansion and debt reduction.

Behari Lal Engineering is set to launch its initial public offering (IPO) on August 12, 2026, with the company fixing the price band at Rs 271 to Rs 285 per share. The IPO will remain open for subscription until August 14, 2026.

The public issue comprises a fresh issue of 33 lakh shares, aggregating to Rs 93 crore, along with an offer for sale (OFS) of 73 lakh shares worth Rs 208.62 crore.

Investors looking to participate in the IPO can bid for a minimum lot size of 52 shares. At the upper end of the price band, retail investors will need a minimum investment of Rs 14,820 for one lot.


The allotment status is expected to be finalised on August 17, 2026, while the company’s shares are likely to make their market debut on both NSE and BSE on August 19, 2026.

Emkay Global Financial Services Ltd. is acting as the book-running lead manager for the issue, while MUFG Intime India Pvt. Ltd. has been appointed as the registrar.

With the IPO set to hit the market, investors will be watching the subscription response and listing performance of Behari Lal Engineering closely.

Objects of the Behari Lal Engineering IPO
Behari Lal Engineering plans to utilise the net proceeds from its IPO to strengthen its manufacturing capabilities by acquiring and installing new equipment and machinery, along with undertaking related civil works at its Manufacturing Facilities 1 and 2.

A portion of the funds will also be allocated towards setting up rooftop solar panels at both facilities, aimed at improving energy efficiency and supporting the company’s sustainability initiatives.

Additionally, the company intends to use part of the IPO proceeds for the repayment or pre-payment of certain borrowings and to meet general corporate purposes. The total estimated utilisation of the IPO proceeds is Rs 63.61 crore.

Financial Performance
Behari Lal Engineering recorded steady financial growth in FY26, with total income increasing 6% year-on-year to Rs 546.52 crore, compared with Rs 516.30 crore in FY25. The company witnessed a stronger improvement in profitability, with Profit After Tax (PAT) rising 22% to Rs 64.64 crore in FY26, compared with Rs 52.95 crore in the previous financial year.

With a growing order book, expanding manufacturing capabilities, and a focus on operational efficiency, Behari Lal Engineering’s IPO will be closely tracked by investors for subscription trends and post-listing performance.
