Shares of Bayer CropScience shot up after the company approved sale of 100 acres of its land at Village Balkum in Thane.

MUMBAI: Shares of Bayer CropScience shot up after the company approved sale of 100 acres of its land at Village Balkum in Thane. The land is currently being used to manufacture crop protection products.

At 10:10 am, the stock was at Rs 888, up Rs 81.70 or 10.13 per cent on the BSE. It touched a high of Rs 905.90 and low of Rs 825.55 in early trade.

On the NSE, the scrip was at Rs 879.40, up Rs 70.35 or 8.70 per cent. It hit intraday high of Rs 909 and low of Rs 848.40.

The company has decided to seek approval from the members by postal ballot, to transfer, sell, or otherwise dispose of the company’s land situated at Balkum Village.
