Baring PE sells 9.8% in Coforge, raises Rs 2,430 cr
As on December 2022, Baring Private Equity held a 39.99% stake in the company through its firm HULST BV. The private equity firm acquired about 70% stake in Coforge in 2019. In March last year, the PE firm sold 10% for ₹2,560 crore.

The shares were sold at ₹4,050 apiece, a 6.4% discount to Friday's price. While Nomura India Investment Fund Mother Fund bought shares worth ₹247 crore, Kuwait Investment Authority and Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund invested ₹158 crore and ₹140 crore, respectively. The rest of the buyers were unknown.
