Bank Nifty lot size to be 15 from July expiry

The market lot size for Nifty Bank futures and options has been reduced to 15 from 25, effective from the beginning of July 2023 contracts. In a circular on Friday, the National Stock Exchange said only the far-month contract, i.e., July 2023 expiry contracts, would be revised for market lots. "Contracts with a maturity of April 2023, May 2023, and June 2023 would continue to have the existing market lots," NSE said. The bourse has kept the lot size of Nifty 50, Nifty Financial Services, and Nifty Midcap Select kept unchanged at 50, 40, and 75, respectively.
