MUMBAI: Axon Infotech Ltd plans to acquire 51 per cent stake in Bangalore-based Quasar Innovations, payment for which will be completed latest by November 6.
Quasar provides OEN & Network operators with device engineering from concept to finish. It specialises in high performance terminals ranging from cellular phones, PDAs, tablet PCs, Internet appliances, portable audio and video players, function specific kiosks.
The company is currently involved in building a range of GPRS handsets for Fortune 1,000 companies.
Quasar sees topline for the year 2007-08 at Rs 25 crore, against Rs 10.77 crore last year.
At 12:55 pm, Axon Infotech shares were up 3.15 per cent at Rs 665 on BSE.
