Axis to soon get a corp bank head

Axis Bank CEO Amitabh Chaudhry inherited the top job without a head for its crucial corporate banking segment as senior executives from the bank quit amidst the chaos caused by Shikha Sharma’s ouster.

Last heard Chaudhry is meeting senior executives from a private sector lender which itself is going through a transition after a new management took over recently. Public sector bankers burdened by capital paucity may also look for a change.

So will a private sector banker or a public sector banker grab the chance?
