Ashok Leyland net profit at Rs 631.29 cr; stock up

MUMBAI: Ashok Leyland reported standalone net profit of Rs 631.29 crores for the year ended March 2011 against Rs 423.67 crores in the same period a year ago. Net sales were at Rs 11117.70 crores against Rs 7244.71 crores.

The stock was at day’s high at Rs 49.40, up 5.78 per cent on the NSE. It touched a low of Rs 45.75 in trade so far.
