Ashish Kacholia increases stake in multibagger smallcap in Q3

According to the data available on bourses, Kacholia held 3,41,316 equity shares or 2.89 per cent stake in the company as of December 31, 2021. He bought 44,100 equity shares of Xpro India during the last three months.

New Delhi: Marquee investor Ashish Kacholia increased stake in the packaging multibagger smallcap Xpro India, the latest shareholding data shows.

According to the data available on bourses, Kacholia held 3,41,316 equity shares or 2.89 per cent stake in the company as of December 31, 2021. He bought 44,100 equity shares of Xpro India during the last three months.

The Dalal Street veteran owned 2,97,216 equity shares or 2.52 per cent stake at the end of the September 2021 quarter, when he entered the counter for the first time.


Following the update, shares of Xpro India were locked in the upper circuit of 5 per cent at Rs 1,078.05 on BSE in Friday's session.

Xpro India is a diversified company in the polymer processing industry, which deals in BOPP films, coex cast films, coex sheets, dielectric films and more.

The scrip has delivered more than 2,500 per cent return in the last one year, although its performance remained muted in the last one month.
