Asahi Infra gets nod for Rs 200 cr project; stocks up

The stock was at Rs 12, up 8.99 per cent on the BSE. It touched a high of Rs 12.78 and low of Rs 11 in trade so far.

MUMBAI: Asahi Infrastructure & Projects has received final sanction from the government of Rajasthan for executing affordable housing project 2009 under PPP. The work is likely to commence next month.

The company will construct 1800 houses on 52 per cent of the land to be handed to Avas Vikas (Govt. of Rajasthan U/T). 200 independent bungalows, commercial complex & mini theatre will be installed separately on 48% land to be developed as per company choice. The project is valued at Rs 200 crores.
