Areva T&D gets orders worth Euro 33 mn

MUMBAI: Electrical equipment manufacturer Areva T&D India on Thursday said it has got orders worth Euro 33 million from Lanco Infratech to supply ultra high voltage gernerator transformers and reactors for the Anpara-C thermal power plant.

Areva T&D will supply 765 kv generator transformers, shunt reactors and 400-765 kv interconnecting transformers for the switchyard associated with the thermal power plant, it said in a statement. The electrical equipments to be delivered will be manufactured at Vadodara, it added.

At 2:04 pm, the shares of the company were trading 1.35% up at Rs 179 on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
