The scrip was trading 3.48 per cent up at Rs 343.65 at around 11.35 am whereas the BSE Sensex edged up 25 points, or 0.07 per cent, to 35,242.
Retail sales for April notched up significant gains year-on-year in China (28.9 per cent), the UK (25.9 per cent), overseas markets (21.3 per cent) and North America (2.5 per cent), nosed down in Europe (-10.2 per cent) amid continuing uncertainty over diesel in the UK and Europe.
While Jaguar retail sales were 13,289 units in April, up 8 per cent from last year, Land Rover sales increased by 13.60 per cent to 31,891.
