Ansal Housing gets shareholders nod for raising Rs 72 cr

The shareholders at the Extra Ordinary General Meeting on January 12, approved the allotment of 10 lakh warrants convertible into equal number of equity shares.

MUMBAI: Ansal Housing & Construction on Monday said it has received shareholders approval for raising around Rs 72 crore through the issue of securities to promoters and other investors.

The shareholders at the Extra Ordinary General Meeting (EGM) on January 12, approved the allotment of 10 lakh warrants convertible into equal number of equity shares to the promoters of the company at Rs 225 each for up to Rs 22.50 crore, Ansal Housing said in a communique to the BSE.

Besides, the company would allot 2.25 lakh equity shares and 19.50 lakh warrants to independent parties for an amount to the tune of Rs 49.49 crore.

Further the board of directors at its meeting on January 12, allotted 17 lakh warrants at Rs 208 per warrant to the promoters of the company.

Ansal Housing was trading at Rs 324.95, up 4.82 per cent on the BSE in afternoon trade.
