Ankit Metal shares close at 2.63% premium on debut

MUMBAI: Shares of Ankit Metal & Power Ltd closed at Rs 36.95 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, against the issue price of Rs 36 per share.
The stock touched a high of Rs 38.40 and low of Rs 36.50. Around 1.72 crore shares were traded in the counter.
The company, engaged in manufacture of sponge iron, MS billets, re-rolled products, plans to use the IPO proceeds to part finance its integrated steel plant at Jorehira in West Bengal.
The company is also setting up an integrated steel plant at Chhatna. The cost of the project is estimated at Rs 121.98 crore.
