Ambuja Cements Ltd. shares drop 3.07% as Sensex falls

Shares of the Ambuja Cements Ltd. traded at Rs 213.15 on BSE at 01:38PM (IST) on Monday, down 3.07 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 136.65 and a high of Rs 231.85.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap up opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 21.36 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 10.01 per share and 1.62 times its book value, as per BSE data.


A total of 31,600 shares changed hands on the counter till 01:38PM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 42472.95 crore and is part of the Cement - Pan India industry.

The scrip has been an outperformer , up 9.67 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 3.96 per cent gain in Sensex.
