Alpine Texworld shares: Retail investors emerged as the strongest participants in the IPO, with their quota subscribed 1.54 times.
Ahead of the listing, Alpine Texworld was commanding a grey market premium (GMP) of around 1%, implying an estimated listing price of about Rs 106 per share, indicating only a marginal listing gain for investors.
The IPO, which was open for subscription between July 14 and July 16, witnessed steady investor interest, with the issue being subscribed 1.40 times overall.
Retail investors emerged as the strongest participants, with their quota subscribed 1.54 times. The Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) segment was subscribed 1.09 times, while the Non-Institutional Investors (NIIs) category also saw 1.09 times subscription.
The public issue was priced in the Rs 100-105 per share range and comprised a fresh issue of 1.20 crore equity shares, with no offer-for-sale (OFS) component.
How Alpine Texworld plans to utilise IPO proceeds
The company plans to deploy the Rs 126.25 crore raised through the IPO towards expanding manufacturing capacity, reducing debt, and supporting general corporate requirements.A sum of Rs 32.08 crore has been earmarked for setting up a new weaving unit at its proposed Manufacturing Unit 3 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The expansion is expected to significantly boost the company's grey fabric production capacity and strengthen its manufacturing capabilities.
Additionally, Rs 52.20 crore will be utilised to repay or prepay outstanding borrowings, helping improve the company's balance sheet and financial flexibility. The remaining funds will be used for general corporate purposes and future business expansion.

Established in 2016, Alpine Texworld is engaged in the manufacturing of textiles, specialising in fabric dyeing and processing. The company produces a wide range of textile products catering to garment manufacturers, traders, and other participants across the textile value chain.The company currently operates two manufacturing facilities equipped with advanced dyeing and finishing technologies. Together, these plants have an installed processing capacity of approximately 6,000 metric tonnes per annum for cotton and blended fabrics.
Alpine Texworld has also been strengthening its sustainability initiatives through investments in renewable energy. It commissioned an 820 KW rooftop solar power plant at its Unit 1 facility in January 2024, followed by a 5.4 MW ground-mounted solar power project in Banaskantha, Gujarat, in March 2025. These projects are expected to enhance energy efficiency while supporting the company's long-term sustainable growth strategy.
