Alpa Labs lists at Rs 60

MUMBAI: Equity shares of Alpa Laboratories Ltd Monday listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange at Rs 60 against the offer price of Rs 68 per share.
At 10:07 am, the share was trading at Rs 59.05. It had touched a high of Rs 65 and low of Rs 54.05 earlier.
The multi-product pharmaceuticals formulations company had come out with an initial public offering of 95,00,000 equity shares of Rs 10 each. The price band of the book-built issue was Rs 62-68. The public issue subscribed 1.11 times.
The company plans to use the IPO proceeds to part-finance a new plant at Pigdamber in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The plant is being set up at a cost of Rs 70.88 crore.
The company is adding capacities in liquid injections, dry powder injections, ampoules, tablets, creams and dry syrups. Post-expansion, the capacity in these segments will reach 63.57 lakh units per day from 25.32 lakh units per day now.
