Agriwatch Agri Commodities Index declines

The Agriwatch Agri Commodities Index declined by 0.54% to 101.80 during the week ended Jan 9, 2016 from 102.36 during the previous week. The Index has now declined for the third straight week. The base for the Index is 2014 (= 100). Seven of the nine commodity groups that comprise the Index declined during the week, with the only exceptions being the Cereals Index (+1.10%) and Fibres Index (+0.05%). The Vegetables Index was again the main contributor to the weekly decline in the Overall Index, falling 6.46% during the week.
