Avenue Supermarts hits all-time high
Avenue Supermarts, the owner of D-Mart, hit a fresh all-time high of Rs 1,619.95 in intraday trade, driving its market capitalisation beyond Rs 1 lakh crore. The stock ended at Rs 1,593.80 apiece on BSE, up 0.05 per cent.

Stocks in oversold/overbought zone
Technical indicator RSI (Relative Strength Index) showed Manpasand Beverages, IVRCL and Kwality have slipped into the oversold territory, while Central Bank entered the overbought zone.

Most active stocks
PNB, PC Jeweller and Suzlon Energy were among the most active stocks in terms of volume while Sun Pharma, RIL and PC Jeweller were most active in terms of value.

Put/Call writing
On the options front, maximum Put open interest stood at 10,600 followed by 10,700 while maximum Call open interest was at 11,000 followed by 10,900. There was Put writing at 10,800 and 10,700 levels and Call writing at 10,900 and then 11,100 levels.
Spurt in open interest
UBL saw the biggest jump in open interest at 22.79 per cent, followed by Godrej Industries (22.42 per cent) and Pidilite Industries (15.27 per cent).
