Adani Group's market cap crosses $100 billion

MUMBAI: The market value of Adani Group companies on Tuesday crossed the $100 billion-mark, making it the fourth Indian business house after Tatas, HDFC and Reliance to cross this milestone.

The six listed companies of the ports-to-power conglomerate saw their total market capitalisation jump 487% in the past one year from Rs 1.34 lakh crore to Rs 7.84 lakh crores on Tuesday.

In comparison, Tata Group and Reliance Mukesh Ambani group gained 99% and 65% in market cap in the past one year.


Among Adani group firms, Adani Total Gas has surged 1235% in the past one year while Adani Enterprises and Adani Green have rallied 850% and 686% respectively.

Gautam Adani, the 21st richest man in the world with a networth of $57.1 billion, has added $ 23.3 billion so far in 2021 thanks to the run-up in the share prices.
