Adani Enterprises slips 2% as arm buys Alpha Design Tech

NEW DELHI: Shares of Adani Enterprises slipped over 2 per cent on Monday after the company said its subsidiary Adani Defence Systems and Technologies has acquired Alpha Design Technologies Pvt Ltd.

Alpha Design Technologies provides Adani Defence and Aerospace a strong tier-1 capability for building a base for graduating to platform capabilities.

The stock has been losing for the last 2 days and has fallen 4.88 per cent in the period.


Earlier in the day, the stock opened at Rs 138.50 on BSE against its previous closing of Rs 138.50.

The scrip slipped over 2 per cent to hit a low of Rs 134.80. Later, the scrip closed at Rs 135, down 2.53 per cent on BSE. This was against 1.26 per cent fall in the BSE Sensex.
