Adani Enterprises shares in focus as Adani Defence & Aerospace to acquire 100% stake in Indamer Technics

Adani Enterprises shares will be in focus on Tuesday after Adani Defence & Aerospace, in partnership with Prime Aero, signed a definitive agreement to acquire a 100% stake in Indamer Technics Private Limited (ITPL), a leading private-sector aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) company in India.

The acquisition will be carried out through Horizon Aero Solutions Limited, a 50:50 joint venture between Adani Defence & Aerospace and Prime Aero, owned by Prajay Patel, Director of ITPL. This move strengthens Adani’s presence in the aviation MRO segment.

ITPL operates a 30-acre greenfield facility within Nagpur’s MIHAN special economic zone, offering capacity for 15 aircraft bays across 10 hangars. The facility is approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and other global regulators. Services include lease return checks, heavy C-checks, structural repairs, and aircraft painting.


Jeet Adani, Director at Adani Airports, said the deal comes as India’s aviation industry gears up for rapid expansion, with over 1,500 new aircraft expected in domestic fleets in the coming years. Adani Defence & Aerospace plans to leverage synergies between ITPL and Air Works to provide integrated solutions for both commercial and defence aviation.

Adani Enterprises shares target price

According to Trendlyne, the average target price for Adani Enterprises is Rs 3,180, implying a potential upside of 39% from current levels. Two analysts covering the stock have a ‘Strong Buy’ rating.

Adani Enterprises shares closed at Rs 2,283.3 in the previous session, up 4.8% on the BSE, while the Sensex rose 0.93%. The stock is down 11% so far in 2025 and 28% over the past year, with a market capitalisation of Rs 2,63,534 crore.
