Adani Enterprises, Adani Total Gas to hold AGMs on July 18

Adani Enterprises and Adani Total Gas will hold their Annual General Meetings (AGMs) on July 18, the companies informed the exchanges on Tuesday. The respective boards will meet to consider the record date for dividends for the financial year 2022-23 (April-March).

While the AGM of Adani Enterprises is scheduled at 10 am, the latter's is at 12 pm, the filings said.

Shares of Adani Enterprises rose in the opening trade. Over 5 lakh shares were trading on the NSE around 9:30 am. The 52-week low for this stock is Rs 1,017.45 while its 52-week high stands at Rs 4,190.


Meanwhile, shares of Adani Total also gained in the early trade as nearly 76,000 shares changed hands on the NSE after rising for the second straight session. The 52-week high of the stock is Rs 4,000 which the counter scaled on January 23, 2023, just before the Hindenburg Research Report saga unfolded.

The stocks gained on positive sentiments in the overall market. Both frontline indices S&P BSE Sensex and Nifty50 were trading higher around this time. While the Sensex was trading at 63,146, rising 176 points or 0.28%, the broader Nifty50 was trading at 18,745, up 54 points or 0.29%.


The market breadth in the 50-stock index was skewed in favour of the bulls with 35 advances and 15 declines. The top gainers were HDFC Life Insurance Company, Apollo Hospitals Enterprise, and Bajaj Auto.
