ACE shares surge 10% after promoters raise stake

NEW DELHI: Shares of Action Construction Equipment (ACE) surged nearly 10 per cent on BSE in Wednesday's session after the company said two of its promoters raised their stakes in the company.
Promotors Sorab Agarwal (4,75,000 shares) and Mona Agarwal (5,00,000 shares) cumulatively acquired 9,75,000 shares of the company, worth Rs 8,19,73,584, on 28 January 2019 through market purchase, the company informed BSE.
The company disclosed the information about Sorab Agarwal's purchase on Tuesday, 29 January, whereas Mona Agarwal's purchase was revealed on Wednesday, 30 January.
Shares of the company closed 6.86 per cent up at Rs 89.60 on BSE.
