7 Pantaloon Retail promoters sell 25L DVR shares for Rs 71cr

Seven promoters of Pantaloon Retail today sold over 25 lakh shares that carry differential voting rights for around Rs 71 crore.

MUMBAI: Seven promoters of Pantaloon Retail today sold over 25 lakh shares that carry differential voting rights for around Rs 71 crore.

As per the bulk deal data available with the Bombay Stock Exchange, seven promoters, including Kishore Biyani and Sunil Biyani, sold a total of 25,37,442 differential voting rights (DVR) shares.

According to the BSE data, PFH Entertainment bought most of these shares for around Rs 71 crore.

When contacted, Pantaloon Retail's Managing Director Kishore Biyani said the transaction of shares was between the promoter entities.

Pantaloon promoters sold shares in the range of Rs 277 to Rs 279 a piece, according to BSE data.

DVR shares of Pantaloon Retail (India) today settled at Rs 277.15, up 1.04 per cent on the BSE.
