58 stocks hit fresh 52-week highs on NSE on Monday

Nifty PSU Bank index remained the top gainer among the sectoral indices on NSE.

Shares of Nakoda, KSS and SORIL Infra Resources surged up to 25 per cent on NSE on Monday.
NEW DELHI: As many as 58 stocks including Dabur India, Hexaware Technologies, IndusInd Bank, IPCA Laboratories, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Mahindra & Mahindra, Mindtree, NIIT Technologies and SRF hit fresh 52-week highs on NSE on Monday.

Key equity indices closed Monday's session in the higher territory on gains in bank, financial, IT and FMCG stocks.

The BSE Sensex closed 191 points, or 0.55 per cent, up at 35,160 with 25 stocks advancing while 6 declining in trade.


The Nifty50 too clocked gains of 47 points or 0.44 per cent and settled at 10,739 with 33 stocks in the green and 16 in the red. One stock remained unchanged in the index.

Shares of Nakoda (up 25 per cent), KSS (up 25 per cent) and SORIL Infra Resources (up 20 per cent) surged up to 25 per cent on NSE on Monday.

Nifty PSU Bank index remained the top gainer among the sectoral indices on NSE. Barring IDBI Bank and Andhra Bank, all components in the Nifty PSU Bank index closed the day in the green.
