3i Infotech acquires 100% stake in Regulus Group LLC

MUMBAI: 3i Infotech has signed an agreement to acquire 100 per cent shares of Regulus Group LLC. 3i Infotech has further reported that the company has now completed the acquisition.

Regulus Group is one of the brightest stars in the payment processing galaxy. The company provides statement and bill presentment services to clients in the financial services, health care, insurance, telecommunications, and utilities industries. It handles about 2 billion paper and electronic transactions on their behalf each year.

Regulus Group acquired AccuDocs in 2000, securing its spot as one of the largest companies in the US to focus on both content management and remittance processing. It has operations in California, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, New Jersey, North Carolina, and Texas.

On Friday, 3i Infotech shares ended up 4.40 per cent to Rs 116.25 on NSE.
