10 top losers of Thursday's early session

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 285.02 points down at 33,748.94 on Thursday around 09:25 am on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Shares of Rathi Bars (down 18.62 per cent), Manaksia Aluminium Company (down 16.67 per cent), Bright Brothers (down 14.95 per cent), Velan Hotels (down 12.43 per cent), Gujarat Intrux (down 11.53 per cent), Solitaire Machine Tools (down 11.28 per cent), were among the worst performers.

Cubex Tubings (down 9.64 per cent), Lakshmi Vilas Bank (down 9.55 per cent), Ultracab (India) (down 9.53 per cent) and Sree Sakthi Paper Mills (down 9.50 per cent) too declined around 10 per cent at around the same time.


In the Nifty pack, 4 stocks were trading in the green, while 46 stocks were trading in the red.

The Nifty index was trading 81.40 points down at 10,143.35.
