10 top gainers of Monday's early session

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 40.23 points down at 34,971.42 on Monday on account of selling in the frontline bluechip counters.

Shares of Magna Electro (up 20 per cent), TCPL Packaging (up 19.99 per cent), Raj Packaging (up 19.91 per cent), Lypsa Gems (up 16.48 per cent), Valiant Organics (up 15.62 per cent), Shree Ajit Pulp (up 15.34 per cent) and Winsome Textile (up 13.43 per cent) were among the top performers.

Jindal Photo (up 12.83 per cent), Godavari Drugs (up 12.50 per cent) and Jay Bharat Maruti (up 11.93 per cent) too were trading around 12 per cent higher at around the same time.


The Nifty 50 index was trading 20.60 points down at 10,532.40.

Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 18 shares were trading in the green, while 32 were in the red.
