Wipro Consumer Care revenue up 21%
Wipro Consumer Care and Lighting (WCCL), a division of IT services firm Wipro, has reported a 21% rise in revenue at Rs 695 crore in the third quarter compared with the year-ago period.
The company said it could increase prices, particularly of soaps, for the second time in four months and cut advertising spending as raw material prices were not expected to cool until April.
The consumer goods unit warned that food inflation could pressure the overall consumption basket in the fourth quarter, impacting non-food purchases as well.
